Liberty had a great start to the 2018 season as they put their 2018 show, “The Day They Came” onto the competition field for the first time at the DCUK show in Woking. With 13 of their young members were doing A Levels or GCSEs this year, the corps decided to take a slower approach to developing their show this year and to add on the closer in the Summer break.

With that in mind, the members were absolutely thrilled that “The Day They Came” gave the corps 5th place and its highest ever Drum Corps UK season opening score of 52.10. This week will be spent listening to the judge's feedback and using it to develop the show for next Sunday's British Youth Band Association contest in Corby – Liberty's home show.
