And so our first season back in Winterguard for 6 years has drawn to a close. At the National Championships at Worcester University Arena Liberty placed 9th in Junior Class with our programme Footprints.
With experienced members deep in the land of A Level revision, we used the winter project to give our 8 younger dancers an opportunity to develop their skills. And they did just that! The confidence they gained, and skills they demonstrated, especially on sabre, was far beyond our expectations. It's meant that as we now start our outdoor summer show, we are going to be able to really develop the contribution of the Colourguard.
Our season finished with a pizza night together watching the live streaming of the World Colourguard Championships from America. What inspiration!! A really successful winter programme and one we hope to repeat again next year.
