From 5th – 7th April, Liberty Drum Corps competed in Indoor Percussion Europe (IPE) in Belgium playing ‘Nightbirds’ by Shakatak in the marching class. During the 3-day trip, Liberty dined out at a local restaurant on the Friday, which was followed by an exciting trip a Belgian chocolate factory on the Saturday. Liberty then finished on the Sunday by competing, where they placed 2nd and Liberty members Orin Willis and Jack Boddington placed 1st in the percussion ensemble category.
